These terms apply to every order, test kit, consultation and report delivered under the Beyond SIBO brand, operated by Balance.Institute BV.

2. Acceptance
By accessing the website, purchasing products or test kits, submitting samples, booking consultations, downloading digital content or receiving reports, the customer accepts these terms in full.
3. Nature of services
Beyond SIBO is an educational and testing coordination platform. It is not a hospital, clinic or emergency service, and does not provide medical treatment, diagnoses or prescriptions. No doctor–patient relationship is established through use of the services.
4. Eligibility
Customers must be at least 18 years old, possess legal capacity, provide accurate information and comply with applicable laws.
5. Orders, pricing and payment
Orders become binding only after full payment and order confirmation. Beyond SIBO may refuse, suspend or cancel orders. All prices are in Euros. The customer remains responsible for VAT, customs duties, import and local taxes where applicable.
6. Shipping and delivery
Delivery dates are estimates only. Beyond SIBO is not liable for shipping delays caused by customs, carriers, postal services or force majeure.
7. Test kits and sample collection
Test kits must be inspected immediately upon receipt and stored and used according to the supplied instructions. The customer is solely responsible for proper sample collection and compliance with preparation protocols. Invalid results do not entitle the customer to refunds or compensation.
8. Laboratory services
Laboratory analyses are performed by independent third-party laboratories. Beyond SIBO acts solely as intermediary and coordinator and is not liable for laboratory errors or delays.
9. Results, reports and consultations
Reports are educational tools only and do not constitute diagnoses, medical opinions, treatment plans or prescriptions. Consultations are best-efforts obligations; no specific outcome is guaranteed.
10. No medical advice
Nothing on the website, in reports, consultations, emails or other communications shall be construed as medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified physician for medical concerns.
11. No guarantee of results
Beyond SIBO makes no guarantees regarding symptom reduction or resolution, eradication of SIBO, or general health improvements.
12. Refund policy
No refunds are granted once a test kit has been opened, a sample collected, a sample shipped, laboratory processing commenced, a report issued or a consultation performed.
13. Right of withdrawal
Consumers may exercise statutory withdrawal rights where applicable. This right expires immediately once health-related test kits are opened or services have commenced.
14. Health data and privacy
Health-related personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and applicable privacy legislation.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beyond SIBO's aggregate liability shall never exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product or service giving rise to the claim. Beyond SIBO is never liable for indirect, consequential, punitive, incidental or economic damages.
16. Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Beyond SIBO against claims arising from misuse of products or services.
17. Force majeure
Beyond SIBO is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
18. Intellectual property and website use
All intellectual property rights remain exclusively owned by Beyond SIBO and/or its licensors. The website is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. Customers may not copy, scrape, redistribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit website content.
19. Chargebacks
Unjustified chargebacks constitute a material breach of contract.
20. International customers
Customers remain solely responsible for compliance with their local laws and regulations.
21. Suspension and termination
Beyond SIBO may suspend or terminate access to services immediately in cases of fraud, abuse, non-payment or breach of these terms.
22. Amendments
Beyond SIBO reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The latest version published on the website applies.
23. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
24. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed exclusively by Belgian law. All disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of East Flanders, Belgium.
